The student will undertake an analysis of the varied aspects linked with the aforementioned novels regarding adventurous scenes and dialogue, as well as the narrative less conducive to direct representation in a film production. Then the student will compare the film adaptations of these two novels with Scott's texts, comparing and contrasting the original with the modern adaptation, referring to, among other aspects, how changes were adapted to issues pertaining to modern times and not only to genre.
