Course content
Lectures: 1. Enterprise and its surroundings; Divisions; Start-up 2. Founding budget; Property; Valuation 3. Capital; Balance sheet; Profit 4. Revenues and Costs (divisions, concepts, functions, charts, calculations, management, etc.) 5. Profit (continue); Calculation formula 6. Reversal point (analysis, constant linear and non-linear) 7. Cash flow 8. Pricing 9. Supply 10. Stock management 11. Production activity of the enterprise 12. Production function and Optimization 13. Investment business 14. Rehabilitation and extinction of the company Exercises: 1. Introduction: materials, assignment of semestral papers 2. Enterprise and business: neighborhood; life; objectives; functions; typology 3. Ownership structure of the enterprise 4. Company's capital structure 5. Revenues and costs 6. Economic result and Calculation 7. Reversal point 8. Volume of production 9. Cash flow 10. Production activity and capacity 11. Purchasing; Sales 12. Finance and Investments 13. Founding budget 14. Test Note: For students taking state final exams - when this subject is enrolled, the length of the course is adjusted to 10 weeks Other materials and documents will be given in the exercises and lectures (in the form of printed and electronic).

Learning activities and teaching methods

  • Semestral paper - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Student will theoretically encompass the lectures on the subject of the economy of the (agriculture) company, learn terminology, basic charts, divisions and functions. During the exercises, individual chapters listen to students (call for separate preparation and preparation assignment). In addition to the theoretical page (development of abstract thinking), the practical side, i.e. a reference to practice, will also be considered.
Student understands the basic economic terms, relations and phenomena related to the economy of the company. Based on the information obtained, they are better able to orientate and decide in specific situations of the company and its phases.
Prerequisites
The course is not subject to any other material. However, a certain amount of information is recommended in the economic field (basics of economics).

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam

Credit Requirements: - active participation in at seminars; - meet the requirements of 2 check - ups of study within term. Examination Requirements: - examination is combined, written and oral part; - oral part composes from 2 questions from course theory. Total mark is given on the basis of results from written part and knowledge at oral examination part.
