Course content |
Content of lectures: 1 The Landscape Planning Definition, The Current view of Land use. 2 The Landscape Historical Development. 3 The Landscape Natural Elements. 4 The Water in Landscape. 5 The Ecocomic Utilization of the Landscape. 6 The Man in Landscape. 7 The Settlements in the Landscape. 8 The Rural Landscape Issues. 9 The current Legislation regarding the Landscape Protection and Development. 10 The Spatial Planning and Landscape Planning. 11 The Role of Architects and Ecologists in Landscape Planning . 12 The Presentation of Practicals. Content of practicals: For this purpose a special area to České Budějovice will be assigned to work out partial tasks linked to lecture topics. The practicals will take place partially in classroom and in the open air. The practicals will consist of four block sessions: 1 Visiting of the selected area and analysing the zoning materials. 2 Working out the partial tasks segments. 3 Individual work assignment. 4 Results presentation.

The goal of this study program the introduction of the students to landscape planning. The secondary goal is to make the students familiar with the tools of the zoning and landscape planning.
