Course content
|
Content of practices: Excursion (4 days in May), two variants: 1. Český kras, Polabí, Kokořínsko, České středohoří, Mostecko, Krušné hory, Slavkovský (Císařský) forest, Šumava, Pošumaví; 2. location: serpentine steppe at Mohelno, steppe at Mor. Krumlov, Moravian Karst, Litovelské Pomoraví, Jeseníky, Českomoravská vysočina (peat bog Dářko), with occassional changes.

Learning outcomes
|
This course informs students about structure of vegetation in Central Europe, about environmental interactions, including antropogenic impact, development in Holocene and recent successional changes.
Students will learn a basic knowledge on space-temporal pattern of central European vegetation.

Prerequisites
|
Students should exhibit basic knowledge in botany and ecology, the best passing the course Geobotany (but it is not a precondition).

|
Systematic student observation
Participation at the excursion.
