Knowledge on phylogeny, biology and ecology of main groups of fungi and fungus like organisms. Methods of studying fungi. Identification of common fungal species.
Knowledge on phylogeny, biology and ecology of main groups of fungi and fungus like organisms Identification of the common species occuring in the Czech Republic.
Prerequisites
Knowledge at secondary school level is expected.
Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam
Active participation in practicales including bringing own samples for observation - fungal fruitbody, mycorrhizal plants, plants attacked by fungal parasites, slime mold, lichens, molds. Participation in the excursion and the ability to communicate with experts - sending an email about the record of an interesting mushroom documented by a herbarium specimen. Correct identification and classification of common species of macromycetes, micromycetes and lichens. It is possible to bring own material.
