Course content
|
Content of practicals: 5-day autumnal excursion focused on the mountain ecosystems of the Bohemian Forest. During full-day excursions plant diversity is presented in detail, but in the context of ecological, historical and socio-economic factors determining the current status of ecosystems.

Learning outcomes
|
Basic overview of the biodiversity of the visited region and understanding main driving environmental and historical factors.
Understanding environmental and historical factors driving present vegetation, flora and fauna of visited region.

Prerequisites
|
The excursion is accessible to all students of natural sciences. With respect to the demanding terrain, at least the average physical condition is expected.

|
Systematic student observation
Attendance to the field excursion.
