Course content
Content of practicals: Four days of field excursions, training in field mycology (herbarium specimens, microscopy, mycological inventory), evening lectures on fungi and their ecology and fungal conservation

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Demonstration, Laboratory, Excursion
  • Preparation for credit - 8 hours per semester

  • Field trip - 32 hours per semester
  • Preparation for classes - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Identification of common fungal species and practical knowledge about their ecology (associated trees, vegetation, substrate). Methods of field mycology. Principles of fungal conservation.
Participants will be able to recognise common macromycetes species and have basic knowledge on fungi.
Prerequisites
No special requirements. Also non biologists can attend.
