Independent research work of a student under tutoring of an experienced research worker.

Learning outcomes
|
Theoretical preparation for Master´s diploma thesis as well as practical work on the topic of the thesis. The course can be enrolled four times during two years of Master studies.
Students master theoretical introduction into their reserch area in the field of their thesis topic, improve their ability to plan and perform experiments, interpret results and provide a scientific text about the research.

Prerequisites
|
The course is enroled at the beginning of the Master´s studies, at the beginning of the second semestr at the latest.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance assessment, Analysis of student's language skills, Analysis of creative work (musical, visual, literary), Analysis of the qualification work, Interim evaluation
To pass the course student must provide results of his/her theoretical research and work on the experiments of the thesis topic.
