The effect of the cell cycle and karyoplast, Roslin technique of cloning, Honolulu technique of cloning, cloning of embryo stem cells and their aggregation with tetraploid embryos. 7) Animal cloning and its practical use. Reproduction and therapeutic cloning. 8) Embryo stem cells, stem cells, cell therapy and tissue engineering. 9) Transgenic animals - methods of application. Microinjection into pronuclei, nuclear transfer, virus vectors, sperms as vectors. 10) Transgenic animals - use in animals. Gene knockout, conditioned gene knockout, transgenic laboratory animals as models. 11) Transgenic animals - application in husbandry. An increase of the growth of farm animals, induction of resistance to infective diseases and stress environmental effects, production of pharmacologically useful proteins, production of qualitatively new animal products, transgenic sows for xenotransplantations, production of new raw materials by means of transgenic animals. 12) DNA vaccines, gene therapy, principles of gene transfer (virus and non-virus vectors), somatic gene therapy, germline gene therapy. 13) Possibilities of saving endangered species by biotechnology. 14) Ethical issues of biotechnology
