Systematic student observation
Students complete their practices in the laboratory of clinical biochemistry or histopathology or microbiology, eventual immunology or cytogenetics or similar fields. The focus of workplaces where the student completes Biomedical Laboratory Practice and Practice in Clinical Laboratory I must be different. It is possible to complete both practices in the same institution, but not in the same department! Also, it is possible to complete the practice in another EU country. No later than the 1st of the previous month before the start of the practice, it is necessary for each student to conclude a contract for practice and insurance. First of all, it is necessary to request for preparation of the contract from the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Science, preferably by email (Miroslava Francová - mfrancova00@prf.jcu.cz, 387776209). Then return the completed contract to Mrs Francová (the necessary details will be marked). The study department will generate a QR code for the student account in ISTAG, through which it will be possible to pay for the insurance. The insurance will be provided after payment by Hana Kabelová - hkabelova@prf.jcu.cz, 387776203. After payment of the fee, the student will be automatically insured.
