Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic rules for pet breeding. At the same time, emphasis is placed on the rules of animal handling and their basic requirements within the higher taxa. An integral part of the course is to link these basic rules with the requirements of Act No. 246/1992 Coll. on the Protection of Animals against Cruelty, as amended. The course also includes a part where students will learn the basic rules directly in the premises of the Faculty of Science accredited for the use of experimental animals and will design example experimental projects.
