Learning activities and teaching methods |
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
|
Learning outcomes |
Fundamentals of biology of important animal taxa (chordates excluded), their phylogenetic relationships and systematics, body plan, functions in ecosystems, significance for humans. Overview of common and important representatives of world and Czech fauna.
Students know the properties of animals excluding chordates, their morphology, physiology and relationship to the natural environment and to human activities. |
Prerequisites |
Basic course that does not require previous special knowledge.
|
Assessment methods and criteria |
Oral examination
Oral examination lasting about 30 minutes, two of published 30 questions related to systematics, physiology and ecology of invertebrates are drawn. |
