Content of lectures: Introduction to the teraristics. Terrarium construction. Lighting and heating. Substrates, plants, decoration. Animal transport, quarantine, general care and breeding, hibernation, aestivation. Care and breeding of amphibians and reptiles: specificity of individual groups of terrarium animals. Deseases and parasites in terrarium. Laws Content of practices: Construction of terrarium including lighting and decoration

Learning outcomes
|
Introduction to the teraristics not just as a hobby but also as one of the method of biodiversity conservation. Both technical and animal care and breeding aspects will be presented.
Based on the acquired theoretical knowledge, better orientation in the breeding of terrarium animals
