Course content
Basic language skills in Czech focused on the practical use of the language. The course is designed for complete beginners (A0 according to CEFR). It is suitable for foreign students who have just arrived in the Czech Republic and need to acquire a complete basis for communication in Czech.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book)

Learning outcomes
Increasing language competencies and communication skills of students.
Learn and practice basic Czech vocabulary and practical grammar, aimed at the workplace environment as well as the skills required for everyday life in the Czech Republic.

Interim evaluation

Regular attendance (3 absences) Active work in class Continuous tests according to the individual requirements of the lecturer Minimum final test grade 70% The course requires a minimum of one hour of preparation per week.
