Course content
Content of practices: Russian alphabet and orthography. Both common and scientific vocabulary. Basic knowledge of Russian grammar system. Dictations and short essays. Practice of phonetics with focus on specific Russian sounds. Conversation topics: introduction, Russian names, greetings, phone-calls, days of the week, family, town and interests. Russian geography – arctic region, tundra, steps, oceans, rivers, Siberia, industry, large cities, folk traditions and holidays.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Demonstration

Increasing language competencies and communication skills of students.
