Course content

1. Stage of Web 2.0 and its effects of internet development. An overview of the current state of standards and technologies essential for creation of dynamic web applications. 2. Semantic web, transmission formats, specifics of asynchronous design and communication. 3. REST, its design and connection to HTTP protocol. 4. Web services architecture, SOAP, WSDL and an overview of other technologies used.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to provide students with an overview of technologies and standards and procedures associated with the creation of modern web applications. The second part of the course is devoted to inter-application communication, principles of web services, their standards and design.
