Course content
Servlets & JSP - Best practices in Java web development - MVC architecture - Spring Framework in web applications - UI frameworks (Spring MVC, Spring Webflow, JSF, Struts, etc.) - ORM and Data Persistence (JDBC, JPA, Hibernate) - Web services (JAX-WS, JAX-RS, Spring-WS) - Techniques used for logging (JUL, Log4j, Logback, SLF4j, JCL, etc.) - Introduction to portals and portlets
