1. Linux - history and specifics of this system 2. Orientation in the Linux OS environment - graphical mode and command line, file systems. 3. Installing Linux. 4. Management of user accounts 5. Working with files and directories 6. Text editors 7. Working with text files, searching for files 8. The commands sort, grep and tr 9. File compression 10. File transfers between Windows and Linux, locale 11. Programming in BASH 12. More complex construction programming in BASH 13. Remote login, administration of system programs

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to provide introductory information and knowledge for working with the Linux operating system. The historical context and specifics of work in this system are discussed. The course also deals with the installation of Linux. Command line work is primarily used during teaching.
The student will learn the basic principles of working with Linux. They will also learn the administration of user accounts and basic administrator skills in the administration of a Linux server.
