- Business, career and life coaching - Coaching methods - Coaching in practice - Mentoring and its use - Mentoring technics - Mentoring in practice

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Practical training
  • Class attendance - 30 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 30 hours per semester
  • Preparation for classes - 15 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
A course aim is an identification with principles of career and business coaching. Students learn the main coaching tools and get awareness of an importance of delegation. Students get capabilities and skills of managing people in a team (as a coach), realize an importance of a systematical coaching in a team and a seriousness in leading process. Students learn about mentoring as a tool of managing people. Mentoring will shown as a relation among a mentor ( a skilled senior in a company who is able to help and teach his less experienced colleagues ) and employee. The main mentoring function is a profession and social development of employees.
Deepening of soft skills in relation to individual and team focus - personality typology, communication styles, self-motivation and motivation, time management; extending knowledge in the field of coaching skills and mentoring
Prerequisites
This is a workshop form, there are no prerequisites.

Assessment methods and criteria
Interim evaluation

Minimum 75% participation, continuous active cooperation, elaboration of the final thesis
