Course content
Content of the lecture: 1. Definition of e-commerce 2. Basic requirements for electronic communication for commercial purposes 3. Processes in electronic commerce - marketing mix      - Product and specifics of its presentation in the field of e-commerce, identification of goods and services      - Price and pricing strategies, payment instruments, electronic invoicing      - Logistics - delivery of goods and services, value added services      - Fundamentals of marketing communication and its specifics in the field of e-commerce, legislation 4. Specifics of B2B and B2C solutions, subjects of business relations 5. Methods of client authentication and data authorization in e-commerce 7. Examples of applications Students will receive a complete updated presentation of the teacher in .PDF format in electronic form after each of the lectures.

Learning outcomes
To acquaint students with the basic concepts of e-commerce. The graduates of the course should acquire knowledge about different perspectives on e-commerce, legislation, marketing mix from the point of view of e-commerce specifics and thus from payment instruments, logistics, advertising and communication. They should know the specifics of B2C and B2B relationships in the framework of e-commerce, basic technological requirements leading to meeting the needs of participants in business relations and satisfying their motivations in the area of security and other important areas.
Graduates will gain the ability to look at the field of e-commerce in a broader context than just from the customer's perspective. They can define subjects of e-commerce (B2C, B2B), their relations, legislative basis of business relations and legislative specifics of e-commerce, marketing mix divided into specifics of product presentation, technology for identification of goods and services, pricing strategies, payment tools, electronic invoicing and logistics - delivery of goods and services and basic technological requirements according to individual areas of e-commerce.
Prerequisites
The course introduces the issue of e-commerce and doesn't require specific input knowledge.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam

To admit a student to the exam, it is necessary to attend lectures. In case of excused absence, the student receives the study material electronically and the form of self-study is allowed.
