Content of lectures: Introduction to Entities, Attributes and Relationships Entities and Attributes in detail Relationship in detail Constraints Modeling Change Advanced modeling topics Mapping the Entity model Denormalized data Database design consideration Content of practicals: Practicals covers similar topic areas as lectures.

Learning outcomes
This course is focused on database design and programming with SQL. Students earn skills in development of entity-relational and relational database diagram and programming with SQL. Upon completion, participants will understand SQL functions, join techniques, database objects and constraints and will be able to design databases.
Student is able to pass official Oracle Academy course and exam "Database design and programming with SQL"
Prerequisites
Knowledge of English at least at CEFR level B1.
