Course content
|
1. Informatics thinking, its components. 2. Digital literacy and its teaching at school, the role of computer science teacher. 3. Informatics topics in today's world with regard to the student. 4. Forms and methods of teaching informatics. 5. Organization of teaching in the computer room. 6. Individual thematic units: algorithmization, algorithmization, coding, graphs and structures, processes and optimization, mass data processing, work with texts, graphics, digitization, computer security. Problem solving and group work. 7. Discovery, research-oriented teaching. 8. Experiment in computer science, hypothesis verification. 9. Project teaching, individual and group projects. 10. Evaluation of student work in informatics. 11. The position of ICT in FEP and SEP, the work of a computer science teacher and the motivation of students, teaching methods and organization of teaching from a methodological point of view, graduation from ICT. Information sources, security and ethics of working with ICT. Further teacher education 12. E-learning systems and systems for classroom management. Design and administration of ICT classrooms, sources of funding.

Learning outcomes
|
The goal of this course is to link knowledge of informatics, didactics and pedagogical disciplines and to train students to manage their teaching at secondary school. Content of this course is pedagogical interpretation of ICT theories and practices focusing on the content of secondary school curriculum.
The graduate is able to manage the lesson, create a curriculum, prepare a lesson, diagnose pupils' mistakes, understand the objectives of teaching in individual areas of ICT.

Seminar work
Requirements for the student: Elaboration of seminar work, continuous methodological outputs.
