This course is meant for students who are interested in "experimental" work (i.e. laboratory research, fieldwork). In the course students work on an assignment with a given topic. The topic of the project may, but need not be the same as the topic of the thesis. Data acquired in this course may later be utilized as part of the thesis. The supervisor of the project may, but need not be the same as the supervisor of thesis. Students may enrol this course every semester of their study with the same supervisor, or may try to work in various fields with different topics. At the end of every semester the project is concluded by a "zapocet" which is granted by the supervisor after presentation of the project's results at a seminar of the department (the form and conditions of the presentation are set by the department).
