Course content

The course offers students a unique opportunity to explore current topics in science through lectures delivered by leading experts from various scientific fields. Each lecture will focus on key questions and challenges faced by modern scientific research. Learning outcomes

The objectives of the course are: 1. To provide students with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the latest trends, methods, and discoveries across various scientific disciplines, enabling them to connect knowledge from different fields and view science within broader contexts. 2. To demonstrate the practical benefits of science and research and to inspire students to pursue their own projects or a future scientific career. 3. To create a platform for interaction with leading scientists and experts, thereby fostering the development of professional relationships. 4. To develop presentation and communication skills. Students will be involved in preparing questions, participating in discussions, or summarizing lectures to practice critical thinking and public communication skills.

Prerequisites
|
The minimum requirement for students is the knowledge acquired upon completion of a professionally oriented bachelor's degree program.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Interview, Colloquium
The final output of the course is an essay or project reflecting the knowledge gained. The student will receive credit based on the analysis and personal evaluation of the attended lectures.
