Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
  • Class attendance - 26 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 18 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 6 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The student will acquire theoretical knowledge of astrophysical plasma. This knowledge will provide the student with a broader overview of physics and will serve for a comprehensive education in physics.
To gain basic knowledge of plasma physics and astrophysics. Students will understand processes in astrophysical plasma, especially phenomena related to magnetohydrodynamics and waves and oscillations in the solar corona.
Prerequisites
Course of physics and mathematics at the university level.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

Active participation in lectures and seminars, participation in seminars 70%. Passing the test to 80%.
