Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Demonstration, Laboratory
  • Semestral paper - 20 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 8 hours per semester
  • Preparation for classes - 10 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Introduction into electronic circuits and components. Diode, Bipolar transistor, IO 555 and logic circuits. Measurement circuits with a multimeter and oscilloscope. The first part of the exercise is focused on working with circuits using electronical Kits. The second part deals with specific electronic components. It discusses the whole cycle: Scheme, selection of suitable components, build-up of circuit using a non-soldering contact field, installation into circuit board, start-up the circuit.
To obtain a practical skills of electronics, soldering, el. circuits assembling, understanding the technical principles of essential electronics components.
Prerequisites
Advance knowledge of mathematics and physics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Seminar work, Development of laboratory protocols

Knowledge of basic principles of electrictronics parts, measure devices, mathematical methods of circuits analysis, el. circuits assembling.
