Learning outcomes
The aim is to acquaint students with knowledge of metallurgy and metal processing. The main focus is on metal materials, their treatment and related operations. The principles of thermal treatment together with areal and volume forming will be presented, too. The course also includes the introduction of basic material tests.
Students will acquire knowledge of metallurgy and metal processing. They will dispose by knowldge of foundry, related operations and principles of heat treatment of metals (sheet and bulk forming). Among others, they will have an overview of basic material tests.
