Course content
Content of lectures: 1. Project solution - introduction. 2. Creation of surfaces, ribs. 3. Creation of models of more complex machine parts. 4. Creation of drawings of parts. 5. Creating reports. 6. Work with bonds in assemblies. 7. Work in libraries of standardized Toolbox parts. 8. Creating assembly drawings. 9. BOM and auxiliary tables in CAD environment. 10. Kinematics of assemblies. 11. Basic simulations in Solidworks. 12. Additional modules and their use in technical practice. 13. Use of auxiliary teaching materials for student self-study, event. for the distance form of study. Content of tutorials/seminar: Tutorials follow the lecture topics. Students work independently on projects. 1.-4. Design of a part with elaboration of technical documentation in CAD program Solidworks. 5.-10. Final project of the report. 11.-12. Other possibilities in CAD program Solidworks in technical practice. 13. Possibilities of using teaching materials in the student's plan for self-study, or for distance learning.

Learning outcomes
Drawing of 3D parts in SolidWorks CAD program, reference planes, axes, creation forming a map (sketch) of rotation, extrusion, removal, dragging along a curve and mirroring, bevel rounding. Drawing in the assembly environment, working with links, creating tables and filling in the BOM. Work with libraries and superstructures. Demonstration of other CAD systems. Setting up a plan for students' studies, using online courses, or web-seminars.

Prerequisites
Advanced knowledge of CAD SolidWorks and reading of technical documentation. Accomplishment of Technical Drawing I. WS Students are offered the possibility of individual consultations with the teacher and processing of additional tasks with the solution. In case of interest there is a possibility of working on a computer in our labs when there is no scheduled lesson.

Course credit unit: Control of completed tasks + performance of tasks during tutorials. Final credit work according to the assignment.
