Course content
Content: 1. Consumer theory - decisions, preferences and optimum. 2. Theory of firms and production - short and long term. 3. Profit maximization in conditions of perfect and imperfect competition. 4. Decision making under risk and uncertainty. 5. Theory of income distribution. 6. Markets, efficiency, market failure. 7. Short-term macroeconomic equilibrium. Leaks from the expenditure stream 8. Interaction money market and goods market - IS-LM analysis. 9. Accommodative policy. 10. AD-AS model 11. Equilibrium in the labor market and intertemporal choice. 12. Unemployment and inflation. Quantitative theory. Rational expectations. 13. Long-term economic growth. Cyclical fluctuations in the economy. Growth accounting. 14. Opening the economy and the IS-LM-BP analysis. Economic integration.

The aim of the course is based on knowledge of the deeper THeoretical context, to understand the causality of economic events and processes. This subject has 2 semesters.
