Learning outcomes
It is the second part of the course of Engineering Mathematics. It is targeted at the fundamenals of the differential and integral calculus of one real variable and the differential calculus of multi-variate functions and linear algebra. Applications in economics are emphasised.
The student will understand the basic concepts of differential and integral calculus and linear algebra. He/she will perform the basic techniques of differentiation and integration and their applications. He/she will solve optimisation problems includeing multivariete problems.
Prerequisites
Mathematics I (MATI, MATIA). Student has to know basics of calculus and linear algebra.
