Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
The first part of a basic mathematics course. It is focused on the basics of linear algebra, teory of functions, sequences and infinitie series.
The student will understand the basic concepts of linear algebra, the theory of functions, sequences and infinite series. He/she will use basic algorithms of linear algebra, work with elementary functions, evaluate the limits of sequences and the convergence of infinite series.
Prerequisites
The course has no prerequisities.

Assessment methods and criteria
Test

Credit requirements: - active attendance in the seminars (100 %). - completion of all tasks in the Moodle system; students who fail completning the given tasks in time before a test will not be able to take the test - total score at four tests (7 problems in each test, time allocated is 30 min) more than 50% or score in a summary test (21 problems, time allocated is 90 min) more than 50%
