1 - Introduction 2 - Historical aspect of public opinion polls 3 Statistical software, STATISTICA;SPSS; R 4 - methods for determination of the sample size in public opinion polls,how to make a questionnaire, questioner, interviewer , sources of the economic data 5 - method for survey, question of sample size in opinion polls 6 - problematic of the missing data, scaling 7 - data analysis observed on the sample and their visualization 8 Point estimate and construction of confidence intervals 9 Hypothesis tests, specific nonparametric tests 10 - Specific statistic approach applicable for public opinion polls data analysis

Learning outcomes |
This course introduces students to methods applicable for research of the public opinion poll. Students are introduced to methodology for analysis of social, political and marketing research. They meet the main principles for creating questionnaires.
Students understand the basic principles of advanced statistical methods. Students are able to communicate with programming environment R. |
