Seminars: 1. Revision of requirements for all levels of CEFR and for level B1; 2. Travelling, Infinitive and ing form after verbs 3. Word formation, review 4. Lab report, conditionals 5. Science and technology, time travel 6. Entertainment, modals 7. Busking, Parts of speech 8. Studies, relative clauses 9. Education, relative pronouns and prepositions 10. Keeping fit, result clauses 11. Medicine and health, make x do 12. Art competition, the causative 13. Sports, modal perfect 14. Test

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)

Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is to provide deep insight into test materials at the level B1of CEFR for languages. The aim of the course is to develop skills necessary for dealing with typical exercises of the exam in Listening, Reading, Writing and Use of English. Students revise knowledge of grammar and vocabulary necessary for successful completion of the exam within suitable topics.
Student is provided information about the requirements for each level of CEFR and mainly about the B1 exam. Student is able to take the international exam B1 level at any institution authorized to provide this type of exam.
Prerequisites
The objective of the course is to provide deep insight into test materials at the level B1 of CEFR for languages. The aim of the course is to develop skills necessary for dealing with typical exercises of the exam in Listening, Reading, Writing and Use of English. Assessment methods and criteria
Test

Credit Requirements: - attendance at the fisrt consultation (absence must be appropriately excused); - enrollment in the system E-learning in the course English Language 2 (AJ2/KAJ2); - completion of the tasks in E-learning up to the end of week 12 of the winter and summer semester with the average score at least 85%. Students may do the tasks repeatedly; - to complete successfully the course, it is necessary to score at least 70% in the final credit test (Placement Test), the test consists of 50 questions and it tests the use of English, listening and reading comprehension; time allocation is 75 minutes; every student has two attempts to succeed in the test; - self-study;
