The main aim of the course of English for Applied Mathematics and Informatics is to develop the students' all four communication skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) in the English language in fields of information technologies and applied sciences at upper intermediate level. The course, led in a communicative way, develops language competences of the students, introduces them to the vocabulary of the above mentioned fields and deals with the key features of the English grammar important for successful discussions and conversations about economic topics. Not only the grammatical correctness, but also the fluency and meaningful expression of ideas is emphasised in the course.
