Course content
Topics within the course: 1. Tourism product. 2. Demand in tourism. 3. Supply in tourism. 4. Tourism and economic development. 5. Tourism policy.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to explain the role of tourism in national economy, to evaluate the power of the tourism industry in national economy and clarify direct, indirect, induced, multiplied effects of tourism. Students are getting known with statistical monitoring of the tourism impacts, especially with the Tourism Satellite Account. The aim of the course is also to explain the specifics that are typical for the tourism market, new trends i n tourism suply and demand, demand forecasting, consumer behaviour and pricing policy in tourism.
