Topics: 1. European culture - introduction (brief history, nations, geography) 2. European culture - main cultural differences between countries (West vs. East, North vs. South, cultural features, languages, lifestyles and tastes) 3. European integration and European Union (policies, funding) 4. European legal environment 5. European business environment - student project and business simulation game

Learning outcomes
|
The subject focuses on two main areas. The first is an historical cultural perspective of the EU member nations, drawing on the cultural research by G. Hofstede and the Cultural Synergist. The second is project based and comprises of Greatail International business simulation game.
