Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to expand students' language skills related to the business environment and to develop their language skills for the needs of communication in business English corresponding to level B2 according to SERR for languages and possible passing of the BEC Vantage exam. It will provide a working understanding of the English terminology, grammar and vocabulary required in order to communicate and manage successfully in a commercial business environment and to increase fluency and confidence in using the language of business English.

Requirements for awarding credits: 1. 100% attendance at the seminars (any absence must be duly excused) 2. registering for the English for Commercial Management 1 (ECM1/CECM1) course in the Moodle system 3. completion of all the tasks in the Moodle system by the end of the 12th week of the summer/winter semester with an average total score of at least 80%; students can try to complete them repeatedly 4. fulfilment of the tasks continuously assigned by the teacher during the seminars 5. regular preparation for the seminars 6. self-study
