Seminars: 1. Introduction 2. Modal verbs; Use of English exercises 3. Modals with past infinitive; Reading exercises (multiple matching) 4. Habitual actions; Reading exercises (multiple choice) 5. Future; Listening Part 1, 2; essay writing (formal letter) 6. Past tenses; participle clauses 7. Passive voice 8. Gerunds and infinitives 9. Reported speech 10. Relative clauses; essay (report) 11. Wishes, regrets 12. Conditionals 1, 2, 3 13. Review, 1st test - Listening 14. 2nd test - Use of English and Reading

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)

Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is to provide students with the information, advice and practice they need to pass the FCE exam. The focus of the course lies in active mastering the technique of individual exercises for the following test parts: Reading, Writing, Use of English and Listening.
Students are able to take an exam at the B2 level in any institution authorized to organize such exams.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of English based at the B1 level.

Assessment methods and criteria
Test

Credit requirements: The minimum test result for obtaining credits is at least 60 % - the test constists of 36 questions, time allocated 45 minutes.
