Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to deepen systematically the knowledge necessary for passing an oral exam at the CEFR B1 level. The course focuses on productive language skills, especially speaking. Students will widen their range of vocabulary and develop the speaking skills needed to improve communicative and listening skills. The individual topics will help improve conversational skills.
Having passed the course, the students will be able to communicate at the B1 level.

Prerequisites
|
Knowledge of secondary school grammar and vocabulary needed for passing the school-leaving exam.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination
Credit requirements: - 100% attendance (absence must be excused appropriately) - active participation in the seminars - regular preparation for lessons - self-study - completion of other tasks assigned by the teacher - passing of an oral exam. The exam consists of an interview on an assigned topic and an oral presentation based on a visual stimulus (photo description)
