Course content
Full-time study: Lectures: 1. Development and meaning of international trade (IT). Theory of IT. Independent instruments. Contractual instruments. 2. The basic forms of economic integration (areas of free trade, customs unions, economic and monetary unions). The world economy, the developing, transitional and developed economies. 3. EU (basic description, history, organizational structure, etc.). The problems and contributions of the Integrated Internal Policy after entrance to the EU. Common Agricultural Policy, etc. 4. Transport and storage in IT. 5. Insurance and payment in IT. 6. International organizations in IT and attendance of CZ in this organization. 5. Eurozona

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
The subject addresses basic functions of external trade, instruments of external trade policy, and includes the activities of international institutions. Also: The duties of the international trade. Theories of international change. Independent and contractual instruments (customs duty, quantitative restrictions, minimal prices, trade contracts, instruments of support for exports, trade and payment settlements). The area of free trade (CEFTA, EFTA, NAFTA). The customs union. The single market (EU). Economic and monetary union (EMU). The world economy: developing, transitional and developed market economies. GATT, WTO, IMF, WB.

Prerequisites
The course of Introduction to Commerce (ZO) is a prerequisite for this course.

Oral examination, Test

Full-time study: Credit Requirements: Attendance at lectures and seminars Project presentation and transfer. Examination Requirements: Passing an exam is possible after credit. A. written part - minimum grade 70% B. oral part
