Course content
Topics of lectures: 1. Getting acquainted with the basic concepts of land consolidation 2. Principles, goals and types of land consolidation 3. Historical development of land records, property rights, land books, mining books etc. 4. Historical development of land consolidation 5. Method of selection of cadastral area for land consolidation 6. Deepening knowledge of preparatory work for land consolidation 7. Problems of land management circuit 8. Determination of land management circuit 9. List of claims of landowners 10. Elaboration of a plan of joint facilities - protection of the soil fund, water management measures 11. Elaboration of a plan of common facilities - access to land, increasing the stability of the landscape 12. Elaboration of a proposal for a new arrangement of land 13. Final meeting and approval of land adjustment 14. Implementation of land improvements Exercises: 1. Getting acquainted with the study literature and conditions of the subject 2. Independent work with the law on land consolidation 3. Selection of cadastral territory - principle of local zoning 4. Work with map WMS servers 5. Map work on the territory of the Czech Republic in the past and today 6. Detailed terrain surveys for land consolidation 7. Characteristics of natural conditions - repetition of geology, pedology, hydrology and meteorology 8. Economic use of land and the effects of human activities on the environment 9. Evaluation of terrain survey results - soil protection, water conditions, landscape and nature, transport 10. Evaluation of spatial planning documents 11. Processing of survey works 12. Determination of land management circuit 13. Processing the list of owners' claims 14. Processing of new land design

Learning outcomes
The aim of subject is the acquisition of basic knowledge on the goals, conceptual and legislative instruments, the proposal and the stages of progress of complex land adjustment process. The understanding in context of sustainable regional development, EU agricultural policy, environmental protection and landscape ecology will be stressed.
Students will acquire knowledge on goals, proposal and realization of complex landscape adjustment process in context of protection of the landscape and its ecological functions.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Test, Seminar work

Credit requirements: The condition for granting the credit is the submission and approval of seminar papers and attendance (max. 2 absences). Credits will be awarded no earlier than 14 days before the end of the semester in accordance with the Dean's measure No. 124/2017 Article 15. Examination Requirements: The exam is written with the possibility of oral examination. The correctness of the answer in the test is evaluated with a minimum success rate of 60%. Themes are available in Moodle. The examinations will be announced before the beginning of the examination period in accordance with the Dean's measure No. 124/2017 Article 15.
