Lectures: 1 - basics concepts of the Theory of law 2 - fundamentals of Public administration 3 - principles of the Civil law 4 - fundamentals of Land law 5 - fundamentals of Labour law 6 - fundamentals of Criminal law 7 - fundamentals of Business law 8 - Trade register 9 - business according to the Trades Licensing Act 10 - trading companies, personal trading companies 11 - corporate enterprises 12 - cooperative according to the Code of Business Corporations 13 - obligations 14 - the basics of Procedural law Seminars: 1 - state and local administration - administative decisions 2 - contract of purchase and avoidance of a contract according to the Civil Code 3 - contract for repair of agricultural technology 4 - contract on transfer of real property 5 - employment contract, agreements about works practised besides employment 6 - contract of lease of non-residential premises 7 - partnership agreement 8 - articles of incorporation of limited liability company 9 - the memorandum of association of joint stock company 10 - articles of a cooperative 11 - contract for the purchase of leasing (leasing contract) 12 - drafting a promissory note and a bill of exchange 13 - payment order and work-out of an action 14 - proposal for an execution of a decision

Learning outcomes

Students understand basic concepts of the Theory of law, basics of public and private law. Audiences are able to draw up a contract of purchase on movables, contract for work, lease, employment contract, notice and action.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

Credit Requirements: Participation in seminars. Working out specified homeworks. Examination Requirements: During the examination, students demonstrate the knowledge of the basics of public and private law - in particular basic concepts of the Theory of law, the orientation in the Administrative Law, Civil law, Labour law and Land law. Part of the exam may be with regard to its course a presentation of a prepared legal act.
