Content of the subject: Content Financial analysis - 1. Relationship between financial analysis and business decision-making. Principles, users and methods of financial analysis. 2. Systematization of economic indicators. Typology of economic indicators. 3. Financial analysis of the enterprise. Analysis of activity, profitability, liquidity, indebtedness, market efficiency. 4. Short-term financing and management of working capital. 5. Evaluation of labor productivity, employment and wage developments. 6. Analysis of production cost. 7. Analysis of production orientation and production structure of the enterprise. 8. Rating and assessment of the financial health of the enterprise. 9. Planning and prognostic methods in financial analysis. Strategic Investment Decision Making - 1. Yield and risk of investments. 2. Financial Derivatives and Risk Management. 3. Investments in the economy and financial management of the enterprise. Types of investment projects and design phases. 4. Capital of the enterprise. 5. Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to introduce the advanced knowledge from the field of Financial Management of Enterprises which widen the previous knowledge from Master study. The course content is focused on the obtaining the skills in quantification and evaluation of economic indicators, strategic and investment management, risk management and specific issues related to international corporations. The course covers two semesters.
