Principles of academic writing. Differences between bachelor's and master's theses. Structure of the diploma thesis. Literature research and literature. Objective of the thesis, research question, hypothesis. Methodology of diploma thesis.

Learning outcomes
|
Objective of the course in terms of learning outcomes and competences The aim of the diploma thesis is to acquaint students with the basic principles of the writing of the qualification work at master's level of study and to elaborate the diploma thesis to the extent, giving prerequisites for its completion in the next semester of study.
Students understand basic principles of academic writing. After graduation, they are able to formulate objectives, research questions and hypotheses of the diploma thesis, creatively write an overview of the literature and use it for further elaboration of the diploma thesis. Navrhněte úpravu

Assessment methods and criteria

Regular consultation with the supervisor, obligatory attendance at the seminar to prepare the diploma thesis. Credit Requirements: 1. Presentation of the curriculum, the outline of the methodology (points) and the literature list by the end of October. 2. Presentation of the introduction, the literature review, the literature list and the methodology of the diploma thesis by December 20 and the acceptance of the text by the supervisor.
