Learning outcomes
|
The course aims to provide students with up-to-date theoretical and practical information on Public Finance. The emphasis is put on public finance in the Czech Republic.
Students understand the general principles and structures of public finance; they are capable of basic orientation in public finance in the Czech Republic. Students will be able to - describe the key concepts and theories of Public Finance, - understand basic methods in public finance research - can find and analyze critically information and data on public finances, - understand principal issues and trends in Public Finance.

Prerequisites

Understanding of principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Combined exam, Test, Interim evaluation
Credit Requirements: Active participation in seminars and obtaining at least 60 % points in two written tests and other assignments. Examination Requirements: Oral Exam.
