Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to extend students' knowledge of logistics, especially in the field of material and information flow management. Increased emphasis is placed on the problems of reverse logistics, outsourcing and evaluation of logistics performance including green logistics. The subject contains many examples of logistics chains, especially in the field of industry and services.
The students will understand the use of logistic methods in practice in different companies (ABC method, push and pull system, supplier selection, key element in the chain, partnership, outsourcing, logistics services, etc.). Students will be able to build a new chain.
