Course content
|
Manager competencies and their development. Personality development as a basis for the development of human potential, creativity and innovation. Self-management - self-awareness, self-reflection and self-knowledge as fundamental presumption for self-development. Self-awareness and self-development to allow spontaneous access to lifelong learning. Self-awareness, self-approval, self-perception and self-upbringing - organization of time, coping with stress. Techniques of relaxation and regeneration. Assessment centers and their cultural specificities. Lectures: 1. A holistic view of development of manager personality in the context of space-time, macro-, midst- and micro- area. Definition of the concepts. 2. Globalization (macro-area) and culturological influences on development of manager personality. 3. Midst- area, regional and social influences on development of manager personality. Corporate culture. 4. Micro- area - potential of the human personality and its development trends, consciousness and unconsciousness. 5. Psychological approaches to personal development of manager I. 6. Psychological approaches to personal development of manager II. 7. Psychological approaches to personal development of manager III. 8. Self-awareness: self-reflection, self-concept, self-approval. 9. Self-development: self-education, self-management, lifelong learning, self-fulfillment. 10. Manager competencies I. 11. Manager competencies II. 12. Development of manager's personality, a healthy lifestyle. 13. Development of manager's personality, creativity, innovation. 14. Development of manager's personality and his human potential, symbols, and fulfillment.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to provide students with theoretical basis and practical guidelines for the development potential of manager´s personality.
Students understand the basic terminology and principles of Development of manager personality. They will learn self-recognition and self-source finding approaches in a practical way.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Combined exam, Seminar work
Credit Requirements: Presence and activity on seminars. Active work on the essay and good results in presentation. Examination Requirements: Obtaining at least 70% points out of 100 in the examination test. Written examination and then oral examination.
