Course content
Lectures: 1 - Communication Process - Definition, Characteristics. 2 - Verbal Managerial Communication - Written. 3 - Verbal Managerial Communication - Oral. 4 - Group communication, teamwork. 5 - Presentation. 6 - Conducting meetings. 7 - Conflicting situations and their solutions. 8 - Assertive communication. 9 - Coaching, mentoring. 10 - Non-verbal management communication. 11 - Mobbing, bossing. 12 - Communication with mass media, press conferences. 13 - Intercultural Communication. Practical classes: The practical classes discuss the topics of the lectures.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Activating (simulations, games, drama)

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to introduce the importance of functions and the most important use of communication skills for a manager. The subject introduces the principles of negotiation and the types of communication, oral and written, together with communication in an organization and a team and communication with the public.
Students will understand the basic terminology and principles of effective manager communication. They will be able to successfully communicate with the employees within an organization and with the customers and other key interest groups outside the organization.
Prerequisites
The course of Managerial communication is a prerequisite for the course of Management.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Seminar work

Credit requirements: Attendance in all practical classes; a seminary work assigned by the teacher, presentation of the results Exam requirements: A written test, scoring at least 65%; followed by an oral exam
