Course content
Firms and ethics of firms in market economy The development of ethics in the historical context of morality and justice Ethical values and principles Sustainable development of companies and Ethics Corporate social responsibility Pillars CSR - economic, social and environmental pillars Creating a Code of Ethics Business environment lobbying, corruption Ethics at the workplace Dimensions of ethics in public administration and in non - profitable organizations

Learning outcomes
The goal of the subject is to provide knowledge in the area of ethics in business; ethical behaviour and decision making by managers of companies looking for competitive advantages in the management of companies; ways of using tools and methods of support for the creation of collective and individual values of the firm; the creation and implementation of ethics and ethical behaviour into the corporate culture; understanding the relationship of corporate social responsibility and ethical managerial decisions in the systems of development and actual problems on national, European and world levels.
Students understand the principles of management and are able to application in practice.
Prerequisites
The course is a prerequisite for the course of Management II and Human Resource Management.
