Course content
Lectures: 1. Managerial Development Techniques I. (Manager Personality, Character, Temperament, Competence, Type of Personality, Type of Leader). 2. Managerial development techniques II. (Memory Technology, IQ and EQ, Fast Reading). 3. Research Techniques (Quantitative and Qualitative Research, Data Acquisition Methods). 4. Motivational Techniques (Classical Theories, Sugar and whip, Self-Theme Theory). 5. Time management techniques. (Generation of Time-Management, Circadian Rhythms, Eisenhower's Principle, Procrastination). 6. Negotiation Techniques (Preparation for discussion, argumentation, evidence, communication frame). 7. Decision Making Techniques I. (CBA, Power Field, Evaluation Matrix, Vroom and Yetton, 8. Decision Making Techniques II. (Five times why, Occam's Razor, Relative Bubble Diagram, Decision trees, Sister of Servants) 9. Idea Generation Techniques (Brainstorming, Brainwritting, Delphy, Mystical Maps, Ishikawa Diagram, NST). 10. Leadership (Adair, Covey, Authority). 11. Networking (networking, sharing, maintaining contacts). 12. Persuasion techniques (principles of rarity, similarity, simplicity). 13. The techniques of change (degradation and introduction of habits, habits, commercial use). 14. Free theme (new trends, practitioner). Exercises: Practice involves the practice and development of selected techniques, in the form of workshops, case studies and exercises.

Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to gain an overview of the importance, functions and main areas of application of managerial techniques in the activities of the manager. Learning outcomes of the course unit The course is focused on the introduction of techniques that can be applied not only in professional but also in personal life. The lectures are focused on the theoretical basis and techniques of individual techniques, and within the seminars there is practice and development of selected techniques.
Students understand the basic terminology and principles of managerial techniques. They will be able to successfully make use of managerial techniques inside the organization and with customers outside the organization.
